Adaptive cruise control (ACC) automatically regulates a car’s speed and braking. ACC is an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that automatically adjusts a vehicle’s speed when there are slow-moving vehicles ahead, with the aim of maintaining a safe following distance.
Around view monitoring is an ADAS feature that provides the driver a 360-degree view of the area surrounding the vehicle. Pro Adas believes that any time a camera or a camera mounting part is removed, installed, or replaced, it’s important that our qualified team of technicians repair the calibration of these cameras.
Blind-spot monitoring involves sensors on the outside of the vehicle that keep an eye on your blind spot. This procedure provides a way to calibrate the camera systems if the unit is replaced or moved. These procedure sometimes require target mats to be placed on the floor next to the vehicle a scan tool to initiate the calibration procedure.
Lane keep assist is an advanced safety feature that works with the lane departure warning feature to keep you from drifting out of your lane. This procedure provides a way to calibrate the camera by having the service technician align the car to a well lit simulated straight road target.
Pre-Scan:
When your vehicle first enters the shop, the first step in the damage analysis process is a pre-scan. Our technicians can then take this knowledge and review the affected systems on the vehicle, moving into the repair stage.
Post-Scan:
Following the repair process, a post-scan is performed. The same scan that was run in the beginning is run again. Before clearing the codes our technicians ensure everything is running smoothly and correctly.
